Quality & re-productivity are inherent to our production process
Augers UK is a division of Trantec solids handling which has over two decades of experience within the dry bulk solids industry, supplying equipment worldwide across various industries, including food, pharmaceutical, chemical and environmental.
At Augers UK, we primarily focus on the design and manufacturing of augers and spirals. Quick production is always included, with a fast turnaround from design to manufacturing which has enabled us to meet our clients’ highly demanding production schedules. We can produce a single “one-off” auger or cater to long production runs, which most customers require. Our “try-before-you-buy” service is available for multiple orders, taking the risk out of new product development and ensuring our customer’s needs are met in the first instance.
We understand the demands of quick flavour changes and can provide the right equipment to prevent cross-contamination by redesigning your Augers to improve their cleanability.
Pharmaceutical Augers are produced with careful precision and accuracy on our CNC machinery, then hand polished to give a bright, mirror finish.
At Augers UK, we supplies a range of replacement spiral augers (also known as flex augers) in both carbon steel and stainless steel in a variety of profiles including, round, bevelled, flat-section and centrecore
Filling Machines, also known as Auger Fillers, are used to accurately dose and dispense a wide range of fine powders and granules, and are commonly used across the bulk solids handling industry.
Metering feeder consists of two or three key parts, depending on the material’s flow characteristics. The feeder body, also known as the conditioning chamber, (optional) agitator, and auger.
Adopting “aerospace” methods of manufacturing produces a superior product.
Quality and reproducibility are inherent to our production process. Fractions of a millimetre inaccuracy are typical and can be easily maintained across batches. Advanced manufacturing techniques also save money.
Our methods are not labour-intensive; once the design is finalised, production can begin with minimal human intervention. These cost savings are passed to our customers, producing a superior quality product at our sensible price.
